In a powerful address marking the anniversary of the July Mass Uprising, prominent national leader and movement organiser Nahid Islam declared that the revolution is far from over. Speaking at a photo exhibition hosted at the official residence of the Leader of the Opposition, Nahid Islam – joined by senior leaders of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and the National Citizen Party (NCP) – stated that the core aspirations of the uprising, specifically structural and constitutional reforms, remain unfulfilled.
